My old mouse was showing age, and didn't match my monitor / keyboard / speakers.

I do a lot of Pro Tools and AutoCAD work, and both of those require a decent mouse. Overall Review: I was looking for a good mouse. (Pad is definetely worth the extra $$$$, don't hesitate to get both.)Ĭons: Just a slight con here, but it isn't it about time that manufacturers utilize the hoverboard technology from back to the future ii in their mice designs? That could have saved me $$$$ on the mouse pad!
Purchased with Razer Destructer mouse pad. Doesn't look ridiculous on my desk, or in other words it doesn't make me look 10 years younger. If you're a right handed, palm gripper with big hands, on the other hand, you'll probably like this mouse. Then this mouse is probably not for you. For some people this mouse will not be a good choice. Overall Review: Mouse preference is highly subjective.

I'm pretty sure it can be disabled with Razer's software though. Flashing blue LED is annoying if you're watching a movie, etc. Have to wait and see how well it holds up. Scroll Wheel feels extremely smooth and when pressed, has a nice easy click.Ĭons: -USB cable feels a little flimsy. I'm taller than 6'6" and as a result have big hands. I own an MX518 also (an excellent mouse too btw) which has eight buttons and I found I never use anything but five (2 thumb buttons for back and forward in web browser, left and right click, and middle mouse button/scroll wheel).
